…or maybe just that piece of furniture that needs a refresh!
Hello there and happy Friday! I’m so glad you stopped by today because for this week’s Friday favorites we are focusing on my favorite paint; Valspar color sample with hydochroma technology in satin.
I first came across this paint last summer while shopping in Lowes. I instantly fell in love with the range of colors offered and the awesome paint names. That how you pick out paint too right?! I fell even harder for it after using it to repaint a small chest of drawers. Since that first furniture makeover this is the paint we’ve used for every other project we’ve done from the Sewing Desk DIY to the vintage barn shelf refresh and everything in between.
One jar of the sample size is the perfect amount for most of the projects we’ve completed with exception of the desk which took one and a half jars. It goes on smooth, coats great even over dark stains, and dries to a beautiful smooth finish. It’s proven to be durable, and the color is true to what’s on the paint chip which is super important to me. If your store doesn’t have a premade sample of the color you’re looking for they can mix it right up for you and it only takes a moment. Oh, and you can’t beat the price; only $4 per jar! Head on over to your local Lowes or lowes.com to check it out!
